Cater Care is currently seeking the services of an experienced and qualified Hospitality professional to join our NSW team as an Operations Manager.

It is essential to the role that the successful applicant can demonstrate proficient experience in Aged Care, Retirement or Health Care with specific skills in working within the vulnerable persons sector.

The role will be based in the Southern Highlands with a requirement to come to our Parramatta head office as a minimum once a week.

Key Attributes required for the position:

  • Experience and understanding of the NSW Food Authority Legislation and Aged Care Accreditation process.
  • Expertise in menu writing, production and delivery of special diets including texture modified meals, thickened fluids and HPHE meals and supplements.
  • Previous experience in the contract catering industry is preferred.
  • Possess the ability to develop strong and effective client relationships.
  • Managing teams and time management in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Travel required within NSW - Car allowance included in salary package.

Key Criteria:

  • Trade Certificate in Commercial Cookery, Hospitality qualifications or similar.
  • Food Safety Supervisor
  • The ability to lead, motivate, direct teams and work independently
  • Delivery of Financial targets in line with company budgets and implementation of cost control practices.
  • Demonstrated leadership in compliance and safety first culture
  • Experience in assisting the growth of your existing portfolio.
  • Professionalism and accountability along with personal values aligned to the company values of Care, Pride and Community are a must.
