About the Role

This role is focused around the completing of domestic cleaning services within client's homes, working in partnership with families and our care coordinators to enable our clients to remain independent in their own homes.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Undertake all of the domestic requirements of the Care Plan for home & community clients.
  • Sweeping, mopping or scrubbing, and polishing floors.
  • Clean glass windows and other glass areas.
  • Remove rubbish and other refuse.
  • Dusting of equipment, furniture and fixtures.
  • Cleaning toilets and bathrooms.
  • Replenish supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels etc.
  • Report any maintenance issues.


You will have:

  • Certificate III in Cleaning Operations or minimum 6 months’ experience in cleaning.
  • Knowledge of infection control protocols and procedures.
  • Knowledge of principals, procedures, regulations and equipment used in the operation of cleaning.
  • National Police Check obtained within the last 12 months (or the ability to attain one).
  • NDIS Worker's Screening Check.
  • Preparation and use of cleaning compounds.
  • Tolerance, patients and tact in dealing with people from a wide range of backgrounds and cultures·
  • Honesty and integrity·
  • Excellent time management.
  • Ability to multi task.
