Home Care Assistance provides quality in home care and is passionate about making a difference within our aged care and disability community.

We are looking for Community Support Workers who truly love their job and are committed to doing the best job possible. Applicants will be physically fit, have good communication and technology skills and be reliable.

We are looking for someone who has experience with disability and Mental Health. The right person for the position must have an understanding about meeting the goals of a Participant and have clear and open communication.

This is a casual position and your duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Domestic assistance
• Meal preparation
• Social support
• Shopping
• Personal care services
• In home respite
• Medication prompting

To be considered for this position you must meet the following criteria:

• Hold a Certificate III in Individual Support/Disability or a similar certification.
• Must live in the indicated area - Sunshine Coast
• Have a current police check.
• Blue card
• Yellow card
• Current first aid and CPR.
• Current full drivers licence with no restrictions.
• Have a roadworthy registered vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
• 2 Referees for references

Part-time hours: 20 - 40 per week

Expected Start Date: ASAP
