ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking candidates with extensive kitchen/cleaning/laundry experience working within an aged care or hospital environment to fulfil several casual roles.

The successful candidates must be available for at least 3 days per week.

Please note - all suitable candidates must have unlimited working rights.

Key responsibilities will include:
Prepare and serve meals to residents and provide assistance in the kitchen
Prepare and clean the dining area prior to and after meal services
Cleaning of the kitchen and kitchen utensils (dishes, cutlery etc.)
Dusting, vacuuming and mopping the wider facility
Conducting laundry services for linen, clothes and other items
Working as part of a team to ensure all tasks are completed each shift
Building rapport and liaising with residents and their families

Essential Criteria

You will have a minimum of 12 months' experience working in domestic position within an aged care or hospital environment.

You will also need to demonstrate:
Prior kitchen/domestic experience working within an aged care or hospital environment
Experience working with people with Dementia (desirable)
Competent time management techniques in line with routines and schedules
Ability to provide a National Police Clearance less than 6 months old, or a receipt at interview stage
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
The ability pass a pre-employment physical assessment
A driver's licence and a reliable vehicle
