Cleaning Supervisor

We are seeking Cleaning Supervisors to join our Health Division cleaning teams.

About the role

The COVID-19 pandemic, and subsequent community demand, mean that additional capacity is needed to undertake temporary frontline work, supporting Victoria’s pandemic response.

The role is responsible for providing supervision of cleaning employees in a community healthcare setting ensuring compliance with Cleaning Standards for Victorian Health Facilities 2011, DHHS COVID-19 Infection Control Standards and other internal controls and in accordance with the Service Specifications. The role supports the administrative function of the cleaning stream including rostering, inventory and equipment management and first line contact for internal and external stakeholders.

About you, what you need to be successful:

  • Experience in commercial cleaning is essential
  • Supervisory experience
  • A positive attitude, attention to detail and eagerness to learn
  • Strong verbal communication and customer service skills
  • Appropriate knowledge of COVID-19 Safe social distancing requirements
  • Experience in a hospital, nursing home or other healthcare setting preferred
  • Be willing to have the required vaccinations to work within a healthcare setting
  • Be willing to complete a health declaration
  • Hold a valid AFP National Police History Certificate or be willing to undertake one
  • Proof of right to work in Australia (Australian Passport/Birth Certificate/Valid Visa)
  • Flexible availability to cover required shifts AM, PM and Night Shift (Monday to Sunday), as required
  • Work under an exclusive arrangement, due to the nature of the healthcare setting
