Your new team




The Waratah Front of House function aims to provide a consumer-focused and professional role where visitors are welcomed and helped to feel at ease at what can be a stressful time for them. Attending any type of health service can be a stress-inducing activity whether you are a consumer or carer. When there is someone there to welcome you warmly this can help to put you at ease. It is important that the consumer and/or carer feel listened to and are proactively supported. This can involve emotional support, feeling cared for and helped.



  • You will work within admin team within the Waratah clinic and provide administrative assistance to the clinical team.

  • Enter all data pertaining to client registration into iPM, CMI, Epic and the local database.

  • Prep and scan patient information into EMR (medical record) to ensure medical records are complete.



  • Work on a busy switchboard and front of house reception where you will also meet and greet consumer, carers and staff.


Your success in this role, will be in your ability to



  • Maintain good interpersonal relationships with clinical staff, visitors other network staff and external partners

  • Proven ability to provide administration duties to a high standard

  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

  • Positive attitude and being solution-focused


Your Contribution



  • Ability to work under pressure and manage conflicting demands and timelines

  • Energetic, thrives in a busy environment

  • Excellent administration skills including data entry and attention to detail

  • Excellent PC, MS Office and database management skills

  • High level of conceptual and analytical ability in the resolution of issues and day-to-day problems

  • Experience within a Hospital and/or Medical setting and customer relations or reception experience
