This is an exciting time to join this growing business and lead the development of short and long-term marketing plans, winning strategies and flawless execution for the Hospital, Aged care, and prescription Pediatric business across Australia and New Zealand, leveraging best in class Health Care Professionals (HCPs) and patient insights to build engaging brand experiences and successful innovations.

The Ethical Marketing Lead is responsible for the performance of the ethical product portfolio in terms of market share growth and sales growth, profits and costs for Australia/NZ. In collaboration with the General Manager and cross-functional teams, the incumbent will drive the achievement of business growth through focused market/competitive analysis and the development and implementation of marketing strategy and plans in coordination with the sales and marketing organisation.

Your job duties would include (but not be limited to):

Lead and develop annual marketing plans, co-ordinate brand plan workshops and their successful implementation and grow the long-term sales, profit and market share position for assigned products.
Effectively manage and prioritise a broad range of ethical products across a diverse group of therapy areas and enrich patient experience by working closely with the cross-functional teams to deliver valued patient support services to ensure patients achieve optimal treatment outcomes.
Analyse market dynamics and evaluate the competitive landscape to develop an understanding of the environment and inform the strategic focus and lead market research projects to better understand the market opportunity and inform the brand strategy.
Develop key HCP, influencers, patient and caregiver insights and apply learnings to marketing plans and tactics, to enhance consumer/customer value proposition, and to drive innovation and communication plans. Share this information effectively with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Work collaboratively with Sales colleagues and participate in idea generation and development of all sales force cycle meeting agendas. Build strong relationship with sales team to ensure marketing programs are effectively executed.
Optimise HCP experience with the Abbott Nutrition portfolio through the development of comprehensive multichannel communication plans with compelling communications materials.
To be successful in this role, you will have:

University Degree in Marketing, Business Management and/or Nutrition
10+ years solid marketing experience in the Healthcare/ Pharma.
Previous experience with high tracked performance in a marketing role.
Experience in both HCP marketing and sales to HCPs.
Experience with developing and executing Marketing Plans
Good knowledge of Australian Healthcare landscape and key stakeholders
Experience managing a team of direct reports
