About the role:
Act as a clinical resource and leader within Armidale Community Health in the provision of support services for people with Dementia or at risk from dementia and their carers. The Dementia Support Worker works within a dynamic multidisciplinary team providing a high quality dementia support service to patients and carers to ensure the provision of optimal health outcomes for patients of the service.

Armidale is an attractive and graceful city of tree-lined streets where the academic world of the University of New England mingles with a major rural service centre. The city is NSW’s highest city offering you a world filled with definite seasons, offering dining, coffee and cultural opportunities to fill the senses alongside the fresh air atop the Tablelands plateau.

About you:
The successful candidate will be motivated and passionate about the care of patients. You will be able to work as a clinical resource and leader within a multidisciplinary team in the provision of an independent comprehensive aged care assessment for People With Dementia (PWD) or at risk from dementia.

To be eligible for employment in these roles you must be: an Australian Citizen, or a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport, or a citizen of another country with an appropriate visa that allows you to work in Australia.
