JOB DESCRIPTION

GLG GreenLife Group is an Australian leader in the provision of property maintenance services. Head quartered in Clarence Gardens, South Australia; they service a wide range of clients nationally including local governments, aged care providers, resorts, utility companies and more.

Due to continued growth, GLG GreenLife Group are seeking a Payroll and Finance Administration Officer who has a genuine desire to find better ways of doing things, drive performance and efficiency.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will form part of a dynamic, passionate, and energetic finance team. GLG like people to challenge the norm and demonstrate confidence in their skills. In turn, you’ll be given the chance to forge your own path in this ever-growing business.

Key responsibilities:

  • Preparation and process (end-end) of the payroll – approximately 350 staff nationally
  • PAYG calculations and reconciliation, payroll tax preparation and lodgment including annual reconciliation, Workcover management and superannuation management, Single Touch Payroll reconciliation and end of year payroll balancing
  • Maintenance of payroll system integrity
  • Assist the Accounts Payable team as required, including the processing of invoices and the reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Manage key internal relationships including with State Managers, Contract Managers, and the Business Services Team
  • Assistance with other finance administration related duties as required

Key requirements:

  • Experience in the end-end management of a payroll of 200+ staff
  • Comprehensive understanding of relevant payroll legislation, including Workers Compensation, Payroll Tax and Superannuation
  • Understanding of modern awards
  • Unwavering attention to detail and an ability to hit the ground running in the position
  • Proficient with the Microsoft office suite of products and specifically Excel
  • Pronto (ERP) experience is desirable
  • Experience in system upgrades/implementations is desirable
