SustainHealth is currently recruiting full-time, permanent AHPRA registered nurses in Aged Care.As a Registered Nurse you will be working as part of a clinical team of empathetic, caring and compassionate professionals’, you will make a positive meaningful difference in the lives of elderly people.

 Requirements to meet in order to be considered:

• Minimum 2 year experienced in Aged Care as a Registered Nurse
• Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse – Essential
• Nursing Qualification
• Must have full work rights (sponsorship not available)
• Evidence of vaccination against seasonal influenza
• Must have CPR
• Must have a current national police certificate
• International police checks if relevant to you 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A strong understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes
• Must be willing to work front-line during COVID-19 crisis

General Main Responsibilities 

• Maintaining quality care documentation
• Ensure safe medication administration, best practice wound care and clinical support for our residents, in line with resident needs and legislative requirements
• Co-ordinating the Clinical team, delegation of duties, and collaborating with Well Being team to ensure highest level of comprehensive care for residents
• Ensuring a safe and appropriate skill mix on each shift rotation
• Assisting the Facility Manager competency assessment of care staff, complaint recording, and resident requests
• Coaching and mentoring care staff, leading counselling discussions and performing staff appraisals and audits
• Contributing to staff and resident relationships, and the overall Facility strategy
• Providing complex care to a wide scope of residents
• Supporting the CCM with the management and completion of ACFI assessments
• Actively engaging in handovers with the Clinical Care Team to ensure continuity of care across shifts
• Adhering to all relevant legislative requirements and quality guidelines
• Practicing Safe Covid19 Guideline

Hours: A roster split of AM, PM, NS over 7 days
