Utilise your carpentry skills in the aged care sector

Your new company
Have been in business for more than 30 years working in the aged care sector. They assess, design and carry out minor and major modifications to people's homes.

Your new role
To carry out and be responsible for the provision of quality minor and complex home modification, home and yard maintenance.

• Carry out hands on work as well as manage contractors
• Order and/or purchase job specific equipment and materials
• Provide, maintain and submit appropriate documentation for all jobs undertaken
• Adhere to all WHS policies and procedures
• Participate in planning and identifying training required

What you'll need to succeed

• Qualified contractor licence (builder or carpenter/joiner - ACT/NSW)
• Experience in home modification or related building services
• Be hands on and produce quality work Have the ability to manage contractors and small projects Understand WHS requirements and risk management processes
• Have excellent communication and presentation
• Basic computer skills
• Drivers licence and general construction induction white card
• Working with vulnerable people's card and pass a national criminal history record check

What you'll get in return
Full time permanent position in well-established company. RDO once a month, 6 additional days off each year over the Christmas period, vehicle, tools and phone.
