The Role:

UPA Home Care Employees assist older people to live independently in their own homes by providing in-home support that effectively meets their individual needs, while promoting independence, wellness, lifestyle choices and quality of life.

Duties:

• Domestic duties
• Personal Care
• Social Support
• Wellness Support
• Transport to shopping and appointments
• Maintain accurate and legal records as required
• Participate in meetings and training

About You:

You are kind and caring with a 'can do' attitude and you have:

• Basic Computer and mobile device skills
• Excellent Interpersonal, Verbal and Written Communication Skills
• Good Customer Service, Problem Solving and Conflict Resolution Skills
• Great Time, Task and Priority Management
• Availability to work minimum 2 days/10 hrs per week - up to 38 hours

Essential Requirements:

• Cert III in Disability, Aged Care, Home Care or willing to obtain
• Current influenza vaccination
• Current Drivers License
• Criminal Record Check (completed by UPA upon successful interview)
• Senior First Aid and CPR Certificate
• Reliable vehicle (Registered with full Comprehensive Insurance)
