We are recruiting dedicated, caring individuals to support our participants to live an active and fulfilling life in their community.
As a Support Worker, you will deliver a variety of services to participants to support people to live fulfilling and meaningful lives in the community. Your working day may include (but not limited to), assistance and or support with daily life, including personal care, domestic activities, social and community participation and varying skill development activities, social and community participation and varying skill development activities.
Pre-employment requirements:
Relevant experience or a Certificate III or IV in Mental Health, Disability, Aged Care or Home and Community Care. Relevant experience can include being a carer for a family member or friend
Evidence of working rights within Australia such as a passport or birth certificate
A current valid Driver's License and a registered vehicle
Satisfactory Police Records Check
Working with Children Check and NDIS Workers ScreeningCheck https://workerscreening.communities.qld.gov.au/ - this must be cleared prior to employment
NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate: https://www.ndiscommission.gov.au/workers/support-for-workers/training-course
Benefits:
Salary package up to $15,899 per annum
Opportunity for conversion to part-time or full time after 12 months
