Business Growth and Customer Experience Manager

About the role

Churches of Christ in Queensland Marketing and Communications team have big plans ahead for 2021 and beyond - and this newly created role is a key component of our success. The Business Growth and Customer Experience Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of business and funding growth strategies and ensuring these strategies remain brand aligned. As the role name also suggested, the role is also responsible for our customer experience strategies and plans.

Your daily duties will be varied and your role will involve the implementation of a number of key objectives, which involve but are not limited to:

Identification and oversight of tender and grant funding opportunities
The development and implementation of an organisation wide customer experience strategy, customer insights program and internal customer experience training program
Ensuring our business growth and customer experience strategies remain aligned to our mission and values

About you

You are able to naturally and seamlessly build and foster interdepartmental and intra-functional relationships across a very diverse and large not for profit business. As an integral part of our strategy and success you have previous experience in the identification, development and implementation of programs where your stakeholders and internal customers are as diverse as our business streams. Your passion for sales, the customer experience and growing our business shines through in your everyday actions.

Your qualifications and experience for this role should also include:

Qualification in business, marketing, sales or the equivalent experience in a relevant field
Five years experience managing business growth, sales and/or customer related functions within a large organisation
Demonstrated experience with funding, grants, fundraising and/or tender applications
Additionally, experience within real estate sales, aged care/retirement living sector or insights programs (Qualitrics) would be highly regarded
