Do you have a passion for working with our older generation? We’re looking for a Co-Ordinator to join the team at our Townsville Day Respite Centre.
Your Role
As a Co-ordinator you will be joining an organisation that encourages personal development, offers a variety of educational options that provides a range of internal resources and support networks.


Your tasks will include:
  • Ensure the delivery, active promotion and provision of a holistic approach to care, which focuses on the needs and rights of the care recipient and carers
  • Ensure the provision of comprehensive care involving assessment, prevention, early detection, documentation and referral across various programs
  • Regularly evaluate the effects of care provided through planned reviews and assessments
  • Maintain confidentiality of information pertaining to clients, carers, staff and Ozcare
  • Deliver efficient and effective co-ordination of service provision using a variety of computer programs.
  • Liaise with Business Operations Manager and provide assistance where necessary to meet service outcomes
  • Coordinator and manage the day to day operations of the day respite centre’s staff and clients

Role Requirements
  • Qualifications in a Health related field, aged care service management or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience in the managing and delivery of a diverse range of community care programs for the frail aged and young people with disabilities
  • Good computer & mobile device skills
  • A current Queensland Driver’s Licence
  • Current National Police Check, prior to commencement
  • Mandatory annual influenza vaccination
  • Immunity against vaccine preventable diseases
  • First aid and CPR certificates, required within one month of commencement
  • Where applicable, Disability Services Queensland screening and Working with Children Check will also be required
