About the Role


This position encompasses a leadership role in Nutrition & Dietetics, Allied Health Program locally and across Monash Health. We are seeking a highly motivated, innovative and team focused dietitian to join Monash Health Nutrition and Dietetics. As a member of Monash Health Nutrition and Dietetics, you will join a large, highly experienced, enthusiastic and supportive environment, which provides excellent professional development, project and student supervision opportunities.


About You


The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate excellent teamwork both within the department and in a multidisciplinary team approach to improving patient care. You will also have well developed communication and time management skills that can be well demonstrated, act on expert advisory committees, be solution focused and flexible in relation to project planning, management and evaluation. You should be able to embrace change and focus on optimising patient care and nutrition services through excellence and innovation. Experience in the provision of clinical education and professional supervision is required. Active involvement or interest in research and/or quality improvement is essential.


The successful candidate must have leadership experience and demonstrated ability to establish ideas and put them in place. They also need to have post graduate qualifications in a relevant clinical area or management (or work towards) in line with award requirements for a Grade 3 Senior Clinician.


You must:



  • be eligible for membership of Dietitians Association of Australia;

  • be eligible for Accredited Practising APD membership;

  • have current Victorian driver’s licence and be prepared to travel and work at other Monash Health sites
