Are you an experienced Personal Care Worker who is dedicated and passionate about making a difference to the lives of others? If you are looking for a rewarding role in a supportive environment, you might be a perfect fit for our Carseldine team!
Your role
This is a permanent, part -time role where you will provide care and support (tailored to the needs of each resident). This will include: grooming, showering, mobility, meals, toileting, social activities and emotional support. If you can work a minimum of 45 hours per fortnight and be flexible to work a variety of shifts and days, read on!
About you
You will be caring, positive, with a genuine desire to do all that you can to improve the lives of our wonderful residents. You will have:
Certificate III in Individual Support / Certificate III Aged Care;
Previous experience in aged care is preferable;
Sound computer skills are essential;
An understanding of Aged Care and resident rights and responsibilities;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
National Criminal History Check (less than 6 months old).
Flu vaccination and willing to obtain annually.
