Our Client is an Award-Winning, leading Not for Profit Organisation in the Community & Aged Care Sector, specialising in Indigenous Health Services. Their primary focus and strategic directive is to improve the quality of life for vulnerable people living in regional communities, whilst respecting their way of life, culture and religious/spiritual beliefs.

They take a holistic approach to the community care services they provide and the people they assist. They partner with local communities, government departments, regional support providers, health clinics, Aboriginal Medical Services and local GPs to support their programs and users of the service.

THE EXCITING OPPORTUNITY

REGIONAL MANAGER - NORTHERN TERRITORY - COMMUNITY CARE - 5 INDIVIDUAL SITES

You will be responsible for :

  • Overseeing 5 sites across the Northern Territory which are available for delivering home care community services
  • You will demonstrate a strong commitment to a clinical care model that ensures a high level & competency in the effective delivery of quality community care & clinical excellence
  • You will be responsible for leading your 5 Team Leaders across multiple sites in the NT ensuring that they have the correct workforce to cover all 5 sites and that community care is being delivered effectively into the communities in line with project obligations, high clinical standards and kpi's
  • You will be responsible for overseeing a multifaceted team (Nurses/Support Staff etc)
  • This is a Senior Leadership role in Community Services where your business area is responsible for delivering Community Service Programs - preferable experience in Commonwealth Home Support Program or Home Care Packages is highly desirable (including: HCP, CHSP, TCP, STRC, DVA and NDIA) but training will be given as long as you have strong clinical leadership experience and have managed multiple sites
  • Rare opportunity to Lead, Develop and Oversee a team - Leadership of Clinical Teams, Safe Allocation of Services for Participants/Staff and Clients, Marketing to Referral Services and Clinical Governance/Quality Systems
  • Demonstrated experience in Quality Systems and Service Delivery in Community Based Healthcare Programs, with a strong understanding of relevant legislation

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:

  • Bachelor of Nursing, Health Science or Allied Health related discipline
  • This is an Exciting Newly Created Position, managing a newly created team
  • Ideally have Leadership skills in Community Programs with preferable experience in Commonwealth Home Support Program or Home Care Packages
  • We would be open to an Allied Health Professional who is comfortable overseeing a multifaceted team (Nurses/Support Staff etc)
  • Preferably have nursing, aged care or allied health leadership experience gained in a community setting
  • Must be a certified APHRA Registered Nurse
  • Current National Police check and OCHRE Card or willing to apply for one

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT IN RETURN:

  • A competitive salary of $115k - $120k + 9.5% super
