Cadorna House is a privately run aged care facility situated in Riverside, and has been providing exceptional care to the elderly since 1994. Cadorna house provides accommodation for 33 residents whose needs vary from low, high and palliative care.
Cadorna House is committed to providing consumer directed care and is an all inclusive facility.
A recent site audit from Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission met all requirements across the 8 standards. 

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse or an RN with Aged Care experience. If you seeking advancement, this role could be for you! 

You will be responsible for day-to-day management of the facility and provide high quality leadership to the team, with a hands on approach and a focus on resident service.

• Permanent position: Monday - Friday with flexible working hours.

Duties and responsibilities

• Provide high quality leadership and oversight of the facility to ensure optimum care
• is provided to all residents
• Implementation and evaluation of resident care plans
• Family conferencing
• Monitoring quality clinical indicators
• Ensuring clinical policies and procedures reflect best practice guidelines
• Promote and participate in all aspects of continuous improvement
• Ensure all staff adhere to the policies and procedures and are compliant with all Aged Care Standards

About you

• Current APHRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Current National Police Certificate
• Understanding of the Aged Care Standards and accreditation processes
• Knowledge and understanding of the Aged Care Funding Instrument
• Knowledge of Aged Care legislation
• Excellent clinical knowledge and skills
• Ability to drive quality and continuous improvement activities
• An ability to motivate, lead and supervise staff with a happy disposition
