St Basil’s Homes Aged Care is part of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Australia. The organisation has been providing lifestyle options for ageing Australia for more than 60 years.

St Basil’s Community Department NSW & ACT provides individually tailored in home support services to enhance the quality of life for our aged clients and their families.

As we are growing and expanding our services, we are now seeking expression of interest for a variety permanent part- time shifts.

Your responsibility is to provide support to our clients based on person centred care such as, but not limited to, personal care, domestic assistance, shopping, transport, social support and respite care.

Essential Criteria:
• Certificate IV in Ageing Support or equivalent
• Current Driver’s Licence. It is important that you have current driver’s licence as you need to travel to client’s home for this position.
• A fully Insured reliable Vehicle. It is important that you have car as you need to travel to client’s home for this position.
• Right to work in Australia
• Available to work 3 or more weekdays

Desirable Criteria:
• Certificate III in Aged Care, Home and Community Care or relevant experience but willing to complete certificate IV with our Registered Training Organisation.
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Greek Speaking. This is a desirable criteria if we have specific Greek speaking clients.
• Experience working in Aged Care/disability industry is highly desirable
