Are you looking to homestay and live rent free in Lauderdale, Tasmania? Picturesque Lauderdale is a town on the outskirts of Hobart, capital of Tasmania, Australia.

Our clients are a wonderful elderley couple who require 26 - 30 hours of care, plus the security of knowing that you are sleeping there overnight.

Mr F is the most amazing person who will keep you inspired. He was a Uni Professor, a government advisor and a consultant to international business. Sadly, due to nerve pain in his hands, his writing does not come so easily.

Mrs F is equally amazing however she suffers from blindness, partial deafness and more recently some vascular dementia due to a fall.

The couple enjoy Opera, French Pop music (they even speak French), documentaries, swimming and gourmandise. Extra pastimes include Watching TV, shopping and cooking.

The carer we are looking for is someone who is very supportive and will engage in conversation. Need to be able to assist with personal care, cleaning and to assist with medication.

The accomodation is shared. The home has a large heated, covered swimming pool and there is a long sandy beach only 100 metres away. Hobart is only 30 minutes away.

Salary: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Duties:

• Assisting clients with personal hygiene and getting dressed

• Preparing food and feeding clients
• Administering medication
• Providing support with academic, social or recreational activities
