St Vincents is seeking to fill the following permanent full-time (negotiable) positions:

Registered Nurse (CNS) – Recovery

Registered Nurse (CNS) - Orthopaedics

We are currently seeking applications from highly motivated Registered Nurses. Reporting directly to the Nurse Unit Manager, the Clinical Nurse Specialist is responsible for the provision of high level patient centred, evidence-based clinical nursing care and is expected to embrace and lead a practice development philosophy in the delivery of that care. This outcome will be achieved through undertaking comprehensive nursing assessments, providing expert consultation and educational support to staff, patients and family in the theatre/recovery setting.

To be considered, applicants will need to possess the following:

• Current registration with AHPRA with full working rights in Australia;
• Post graduate qualifications in recovery or orthopaedic nursing desirable
• Well developed interpersonal and leadership skills within a team environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Flexible and available to work all shifts on a rotating roster
• Proven experience working within recovery or orthopaedics specialties
• Minimum 3 years post graduate experience
