About the Role
Develop and manage services to ensure an effective and consistent approach to care
Ensure a multidisciplinary approach to assessment and care planning
Work in conjunction with the Regional Manager to develop, monitor and manage annual budgets and strategies that ensure programs meet program requirements and KPIs in a cost effective manner
Manage and supervise staff through a performance appraisal process to ensure duties and responsibilities are met
Ensure all staff and volunteers understand their role and feel supported to extend their knowledge and maximise their skills
Develop and maintain industry networks and local area knowledge of the community aged care service system and identify opportunities for partnership development
Establish a meaningful relationship with residents/clients and engage in communication with them and their families to develop a holistic understanding of their needs and lifestyle preferences
About You
You will have:
Tertiary qualifications in management, business or a related discipline and/or experience in operational management in a health or aged care organisation
Strong leadership skills
Great organisational skills
Great communication both written and verbal
The ability to work and lead a team autonomously
A warm friendly and engaging personality
The ability to form supportive relationships with clients and their families
Drivers Licence and vehicle
Willingness to have an annual flu vaccination
A satisfactory National Criminal Police Record Check
