JOB DESCRIPTION

A new position exists for an enthusiastic person to join the team as an Administration Officer within the Clayton Adult Mental Health Program. This position is for a 6 month contract, with a possible extension. This position will provide administrative support between the Clayton inpatient unit and the Community based teams. This position is one of several that has been created to provide additional supports for patients with long term mental health problems.

About the Role


The role will require the successful applicant to work across a number of sub-programs within the Mental Health Program based at and from the Clayton site. We are seeking someone with excellent customer service skills, experience using the Microsoft Office suite and a genuine passion for people.


About You


As a dynamic Administration Officer, with a genuine interest in this unique opportunity, you will bring:



  • High level of attention to detail

  • Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written form

  • High level of organisation and time management skills, and to manage changing priorities in a flexible, positive way

  • Excellent people and communication sills including relationship building

  • Intermediate computer skills

  • Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team


What you need:



  • Demonstrated recent experience as an administrator (in health or a mental health setting would be preferred)

  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft computer applications (experience in CMI, iPM and general computer programs would be preferred)

  • Valid Driver's licence

  • Ability to travel to, and work from other Monash Health sites 

  • Administrative qualification (desirable)
