Who are we looking for?

Our Aged Care Services portfolio is embarking on a journey of growth and transformation. Key to this is our team of skilled Allied Health professionals who are passionate about improving the lives of older people, designing and delivering therapeutic programs within a holistic, client-centred model of care.

We are seeking a Senior Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist to play a key role, leading change management and program development, and providing clinical leadership to our multi-disciplinary team.

This is an exciting opportunity to join SA’s largest social services provider in a meaningful leadership role. 

What can you expect to be doing?

  • Lead program development and implementation and lead/contribute to quality improvement programs across Aged Care.
  • Deliver efficient and effective Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy to clients, establishing goals and individual plans and providing sound best practice clinical treatment.
  • Provide education and restorative activities for clients and staff, to encourage self-care management and promote positive ageing.
  • Provide professional/clinical supervision and mentorship to the team, supervising students and Allied Health Assistants as required

What do you need to bring?

  • Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy, with up to date AHPRA registration
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in either Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy practice including assessment, diagnoses and treatment
  • Sound knowledge of the ageing process, the principles of self-management and the promotion of positive ageing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated leadership experience
  • Experience in Aged Care will be highly regarded
  • Current Australian driver's licence and roadworthy insured vehicle (for which you will be reimbursed for work related mileage)
