Lifestyle Coordinator
Limited Tenure - 01/03/2021 to 17/10/2021
Part Time24 Hours per week
Colac Area Health currently has an opportunity for a Lifestyle Coordinator to join our busy Aged CareTeam .
The successful applicant will have;
- Qualifications & Experience – Specialist skills and knowledge
- Certificate IV in Community Service – Lifestyle and Leisure or working towards same OR
- Certificate 111 in Aged Care and prepared to work towards Certificate IV in Community Service – Lifestyle and Leisure
- First Aid certificate work place level 2.
- Computer literacy particularly in Microsoft office software.
- Fit for work
- Ability to work with all members of the care team, residents and their families to assist in maintenance of dignity, functioning, self-esteem and individual worth.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills.
- High level written and other communication skills.
- Understanding and compassion for older people.
- Ability to work with families and the wider community.
- Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Well-developed skills in planning and tailoring life enhancement programs to suit individual needs.
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation

The successful applicant will be required to undertake a Victorian Police Check and complete a Statutory Declaration as per the Aged Care Principles prior to commencement of employment. Some positions will also require a WWC Check.
