About the Opportunity

Walkerville Aged Care is located in the peaceful inner northern suburbs of Adelaide just 5km from the city centre. The home is built on the shores of the River Torrens and the Adelaide Linear Park with the convenience of Walkerville Shopping Centre only 2 minutes walk away or take the bus straight from our front doors.

Residents enjoy spacious single, twin and semi-private accommodation with private ensuites. All rooms look out to peaceful landscaped gardens or charming courtyards for that morning stroll or quiet time with a good book.

We are actively seeking experienced & dedicated Personal Care Workers to join our team on a casual basis. This is an excellent opportunity for you to further expand your skill set in a supportive & structured environment, whilst gaining job satisfaction.

Successful candidates will be offered work on a casual & on-call basis for leave coverage. 

About You

The ideal candidate must demonstrate the following:

• Certificate III or Certificate IV in Aged Care or Individual Support
• Minimum of 6 months experience as a Personal Care Worker
• Flexibility to work available shifts on short notice 
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build rapport with residents, families and team members
• Current Flu Vaccination Record
