About the role

We have a new opportunity for a Business Support and Relationship Manager to lead and manage centralised support functions, whilst promoting a best practice focus, engaging with clients, families, and local communities, and striving for continuous system and process improvements.

Based in our Leederville officer and reporting to the Regional Director Disability, Aged Care & Mental Health this is a full time and permanent position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Business Support and Customer Relations team to achieve the business plan outcomes and other organisational programs and initiatives whilst demonstrating LWB’s values
  • Model and lead the required work environment, culture, systems and processes necessary to implement organisational strategies, governance and efficiencies that embed standards, behaviours and practices which are consistent with the values, work health and safety requirements, policies and relevant legislation
  • Monitor, coach, support, motivate and develop team members to enable them to deliver to the best of their ability
  • Ensure appropriate training is developed and implemented to build individuals’ and teams’ technical competencies and abilities
  • Ensure client satisfaction is a high priority and client outcomes are delivered in accordance with established agreements and processes
  • Manage reporting on the efficiency, effectiveness and compliance of services provided by Business Support and Relationship Teams and initiate any corrective action to address issues arising as required
  • Implement, document, and maintain adequate and effective process workflows to improve efficiencies and increase profitability
  • Ensure appropriate risk management and business continuity strategies are designed and implemented within designated teams to maintain agreed performance standards in accordance with relevant agreements, contracts, MOUs, legislation, policies and procedures
  • Actively identify systemic issues, share best practice and improvements
  • Undertake internal audits, root cause analysis and continuous improvement processes
  • Keep abreast of best practice and emerging trends that may impact on our business and quality assurance strategies
  • Assist to develop and implement safeguarding and quality management systems
  • Compile and analyse performance information

Skills & Experience

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in the Human Services and/or Business
  • Demonstrated experience managing a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Demonstrated experience applying continuous improvement and innovative thinking to program management and delivery
  • Sound project management experience, including analytical thinking, planning and delivering
  • Current unrestricted driver licence

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks which may include National Criminal History Record Check, Department of Communities Check, Working with Children Check and NDIS Screening Checks
