JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Fulltime rostering role
  • Rotating shifts including early and late shifts including weekends shifts
  • Salary: $25.00 - $28.00 plus penalties

Healthcare Australia’s national aged home care program, HCA Home, is focused on assisting older Australians to remain living in their own home.

The opportunity
The role of rostering is to support the delivery of high-quality services in accordance with the Clients’ needs, goals and preferences. The position requires the person to have a commitment to the aims and objectives of providing timely, appropriate and consistent services in a Client’s home.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Develop appropriate client visit schedules based on client goals and wishes, taking into account any cultural or gender requirements and preferences for days and times of service/s.
  • Utilise cost effective techniques, including route optimization, understanding shift and allocation costs and appropriate skill mix.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with both clients and staff
About you
You will have excellent communication skills with the ability to build effective and lasting relationships. You will have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Demonstrated experience in rostering in an aged care environment would be highly regarded.



Experience and skills required:
  • Intermediate skills with computer and software packages including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and rostering/scheduling software packages.
  • Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Professional and effective phone manner
  • Demonstrated rostering experience or similar
  • Ability to perform autonomously and contribute as part of a team
