About the Role

As the General Manager of our Dural care home, you will be responsible for its overall daily operations. You will support and champion the Bupa Model of Care to our residents, create a culture for our people, and you will achieve extraordinary business performance. You will be supported by a Business Administrator and Regional Manager, in addition to Quality Education Consultants, to achieve our desired business goals, and provide high level care to our residents
and their families.

This role is located in Armidale, NSW

Duties

• Facility management
• Financial management
• Recruitment
• Training and development of staff
• Succession planning
• Occupancy management
• Roster management
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders

Skills and Experience

• Bachelor of Nursing or Equivalent is essential
• Post grad qualification in aged care highly regarded
• Current AHPRA is essential
• Experience managing a minimum of 50 beds
• Proven track record in delivering quality clinical care within an aged care or acute setting
• Excellent clinical assessment skills and care planning capabilities
• Highly effective communication, leadership and relationship management skills
• An understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes
• Must have a current national police certificate or be willing to complete a criminal history check
