Administration Officer Day Rehabiltiaion Unit : Permanent Part Time position (32 hours / week)
4 Days : 8-1630hrs Tuesday - Friday

About the role
Provide receptionist and administrative support to the staff, patients and visitors of the Day Rehabilitation Unit (DRU).
The DRU assists patients who have experienced loss of function due to prolonged hospital admission, disability, illness, inactivity or injury to return home safely with optimal independence.
The Unit offers a variety of sessional programs over 4-6 weeks, each lasting up to 2 hours, including 1 hour in the gym and 1 hour in the pool.
The multidisciplinary team is committed to providing high standards of care in a busy yet friendly environment

Selection Criteria
Essential: 1. Demonstrated experience in providing high quality customer service to internal and external customers; excellent communication (oral and written), negotiation and problem solving skills
Essential: 2. High level computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, internet/intranet and ability to learn organisational systems
Essential: 3. Knowledge of patient admission, discharge and billing or equivalent systems
Essential: 4. Demonstrated excellent organisational skills with the capacity to work under pressure, maintaining attention to detail and meet deadlines.
Essential: 5. Ability to undertake quality activities to ensure a high level of accuracy in work performed and a commitment to continual improvement
Essential: 6. Recent experience in an administrative role in a health care facility
Essential: 7. Demonstrated high level administrative skill in healthcare environment, with a sound knowledge of health information systems.
Essential: 8. Ability to work within the Mission and Values of Calvary Health Care, Kogarah
