About The Care Home
Bupa Griffith, a modern care home located in a quiet neighbourhood, just footsteps away from the community bus stop which will take you to the CBD. It consists of 80 beds, with a variety of care units. Our primary goal is placing our focus on the health, lifestyle and well-being of our residents.
About The Role
Working as part of a team of empathetic and caring clinical professionals, you will manage 40-50 beds in this care home, supporting the General Manager in leading the clinical aspects and governance of the care home. You will be required to oversee ACFI, care planning, risk assessments, infection control and case conferences.
This is a full-time role paying up to $110,000 + super.
Duties

Oversee the daily clinical operations of the care home

Support and lead the care home clinical team including coaching, mentoring, staff allocations and delegation, performance management and education

Review clinical incidents, complaints and changes

Review, monitor and investigate risks

Lead compliance with ACFI assessments

Manage person-centred care planning and evaluation for residents. Including case conferencing with families and carers

Prepare and conduct clinical governance audits

Oversee medication management in accordance with resident needs and legislative requirements

Liaise with allied health, medical practitioners and other services to provide optimal resident care
Skills and Experience
-
Bachelor of Nursing or Equivalent is essential

Post grad qualification in aged care highly regarded

Current AHPRA is essential

Experience managing a minimum of 30 beds

Proven track record in delivering quality clinical care within an aged care or acute setting

Excellent clinical assessment skills and care planning capabilities

Highly effective communication, leadership and relationship management skills

An understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes
