SustainHealth are recruiting for a permanent full time General Manager for an Aged Care facility 2.5 hours from Melbourne CBD.
The Role
The General Manager is responsible for all of the daily operations within the facility, consisting of 120 beds that was unaffected by COVID19. This role requires someone that has a strong leadership background, and a sound business acumen. You will work closely with the Regional Manager to meet and exceed business targets, achieve an above market residential experience, and ensure that all residents receive the highest level of care. Creating and maintaining a strong company culture and a workplace staff enjoy are key.
Experience Required;
- Previous experience as a facility manager in a private Aged Care residential home
- Strong leadership in an operations role, and developing staff
- Clinical management experience preferred but not essential
- Proven record of exceeding financial targets, and successfully implementing new initiatives
- Complete understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes
- Post Grad in Aged Care/Health Management is desired but not a requirement
- Available for interview ASAP
