JOB DESCRIPTION

The Role…

We’re looking for an experienced team leader to join our Finance team based in Nudgee. The Finance Transactional Team Lead plays a central role in leading, managing and supporting our Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Finance administration functions to provide excellent customer service to our internal and external clients.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Taking ownership and management of the full function Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Finance Administration.
  • Managing, leading, and developing a small team including performance reviews and task management.
  • Liaising with suppliers, customers and internal stakeholders to ensure that any queries/requests are resolved and responded to in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Review and assist with monthly accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank account journals and reconciliations.
  • Review and assist with invoice processing, including reimbursements.
  • Be a part of, and contribute to, systems and process improvements designed to minimise/eliminate manual handling and errors. This may include the implementation of new systems that interface with the existing ERP.

About You…

  • A minimum of five years demonstrated Finance Transactional Team Management experience (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Finance Administration), in a mid to high volume transactional environment.
  • High level ability to use/navigate computer IT systems including data base management, ERP systems, MS Word and Excel.
  • Previous experience with Technology One.
  • Outstanding accuracy, attention to detail and time management skills.
  • High level customer service, communication and problem-solving skills to support both internal and external clients.
  • Experience with implementing systems, change management and managing stakeholder engagement for process improvement.
  • Have or ability to obtain prior to commencement positive notice in the Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and Working with People with Disabilities (Yellow Card)/NDIS Worker Screening.
