About the role


This is an exciting opportunity based in our beautiful, environmentally-friendly Churches of Christ Kenmore Campus and Community Building with on-site café.

This role is a crucial part of our Central Business Support team, coordinating and managing finance functions, namely Accounts Receivable, within the group to ensure a timely and accurate service is delivered.

One of your primary responsibilities will be to manage the contract preparation process. The role has a significant customer service focus, requiring you to deal with numerous stakeholders on a daily basis.

Any legislative changes as they impact agreements, billing or funding, will fall with you, as will be ensuring systems are in place to support these changes.

You will utilise your strong interpersonal and communication skills to build internal and external networks to drive business improvement. Most importantly, you will have the experience to monitor and escalate debtor issues to minimise bad debt exposure.

Providing expert advice to stakeholders on the Accounts Receivable practice will form part of your repertoire, as will be encouraging innovative approaches and enhancing value through improved finance efficiency and outcomes.


About you

You are driven by challenges and looking for a role where your input will make a real and substantial difference to business support and our Accounts Receivable function.

You will possess experience in a management role whereby you have provided oversight to ensure performance measures meet strategic objectives.

You have the ability to develop a motivated and cohesive work team whilst successfully managing your workload and organising your time in order to be efficient and effective.

You are enthusiastic and committed to providing excellent customer service to all stakeholders and thrive on also working autonomously. Furthermore, you possess the proven ability to think on your feet and proactively find solutions to issues as and when they arise.

Your qualifications and experience should include:

  • Degree qualification in Finance, Accounting or Business or similar relevant qualification;
  • 5 years’ experience managing a Finance or Central Business Support function;
  • Management experience in leading small to medium sized teams is highly desirable, as is experience in the Aged Care sector or similar.
