There is a requirement for an experienced System Administrator to join our team in helping us support both our staff and clients. As a System Administrator you will be reporting directly to the Managing director.

Key Responsibilities

1. The Implementation, administration & troubleshooting of Network and device systems infrastructure including Routers, Switches (Cisco) and Firewalls.
2. Develop the network system by using technologies such as application interfaces, databases, Infrastructure Services, WAN and LAN networking including Cloud services, Software-Defined infrastructure, and mobility services. Configuration, integration, and deployment of associated PCs (with Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 10 Operating System), software and peripherals.
3. Monitor network traffic and usage for optimal results.
4. Coordinate with various departments and establish effective communication with service providers to provide quality service.
5. Administer and maintain Windows Active Directory for the access of third-party applications in order to avoid any damage to the company’s data and information·
6. Evaluate and prepare survey report to check performance of all networking systems.
7. Design and implement effective management information systems for various data protection systems.
8. Responding to all technical queries and assisting users as well as training new staff.

Requirements include:

• Tertiary qualification in IT
• At least 2+ years’ relevant experience in a similar role
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
• Sound knowledge in Windows Server, Active Directory, virtualization, hardware configuration, PC and server maintenance and Network communication technologies.
• Skilled in problem solving design, implementation, and maintenance of infrastructure solutions.
• Skilled in business system administration and user support for a complex information system
• Skilled in the usage of Microsoft Office and Cisco products.
• Ability to multitask as well as prioritise your work efficiently.

Salary – 54,000 + superannuation
