The Opportunity

Working with the ACARES team, you will be joining the team as a Disability Support Worker. Each day may be different, but your core responsibilities will likely include:

• Providing aid and support in common daily activities around the home
• Providing aid and support with hygiene and personal care
• Provide assistance with mobility and medication
• Assistance, support, and chaperoning activities outside the home environment which may include transportation of your client

About You

To do well in this role, you would be greatly benefitted from working with clients who have had a range of physical and intellectual disabilities. You will also have;

• Minimum Cert III in Individual Support (Disability/Aged Care) or 12 months professional experience
• Drivers License and Own Vehicle
• First Aid and CPR Certificates
• Police Check and Working with Children’s Check
