Due to continued growth we have an opportunity for a talented & experienced Occupational Therapist who enjoys working with elderly patrons specialising in Pain Management.
Key Responsibilities

We are seeking Occupational Therapist with 7 + years’ experience who is motivated by helping their clients reach their potential, who have been working with clients who have complex issues. 

To be a successful for this role, you will need to have up-to-date knowledge of treatment practices and physical therapy programs, conducting physical assessment of clients, developing implementing individual treatment plans to each client.

Experience and Skills

  • Occupational Therapist 7 + years’ experience
  • Proven ability working with complex clients and Aged Care
  • Hold a current and valid AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
  • Occupational Therapy tertiary qualifications
  • Proven working experience of working with people with dementia and or mental health
  • Flexibility to suit the changing needs of the residents, clients, families, and care teams
  • Previous experience with the demand to the changing needs of the residents/clients, families, and care teams
  • Functional assessments of residents on admission, writing and completing in-depth report including the support plans, Create Strategies, identify behaviour causes – developing and implementation of the plan
  • You will be in responsible for the care of each of your patients, working closely with their family and carers, together with different living and social environments.
  • Must have Intermediate to Advanced MS office skills.
