Aged Care Traineeship – Administration

  • Be trained by one of Australia’s most respected Aged Care providers
  • Earn a Certificate III in Business Administration
  • Be paid while you receive on the job training
  • 12 months part-time based in Joslin.

About You

You are a confident and clear communicator who can work in a fast paced environment. You have a keen eye for detail and can complete entry level tasks to a high degree of accuracy. You have a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and an aptitude for learning new systems. If this sounds like you, then you’re well-suited to being an administrator within Life Care.

To Be Considered, You Absolutely Must
  • Have proof of a 2020 seasonal influenza vaccination
  • Hold or be willing to obtain a National Police Clearance for working with vulnerable people/aged care
  • Pass a Language, Literacy and Numeracy assessment

About The Traineeship

This is an opportunity to gain a Certificate III in Business whilst acquiring vital on the job experience in the Aged Care Sector. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
  • First point of contact reception duties, answering basic queries and/or referring queries onto relevant areas
  • Greeting external clients
  • Assisting residents and families
  • Assessing and processing visitors in line with COVID-19 management plans
  • Providing HR Admin support to the Office Coordinator such as rostering, schedule changes and tracking of staff documentation
  • General administrative duties
