Customer Centre Advisor

Permanent, part-time (potential for full-time) | Leading not-for-profit | Mitcham location

We are seeking a part time Customer Centre Advisor and/or Veterans Home Care Agency Assessor to join our team in Mitcham on a permanent part-time basis (3 days a week), yet we are open to discussing a full-time arrangement (3 days per week in the Customer Centre team plus 2 days per week in the Veterans Home Care team).

In this rewarding position you will be part of a small energetic advisory team which provides information and support to people inquiring about care options. You will be a trusted technical advisor in the Aged Care industry, and promote and offer Benetas services that suit their individual needs and circumstances.

You will:

  • Have previous customer service and administration experience
  • Have intermediate level of computer skills and telephony literacy
  • Have exemplary organisational skills, resilience and ability understand business demands
  • Be friendly, positive and naturally able to build relationships that make a difference
  • Be honest, helpful and dependable - a real team player
  • Treat others with dignity and respect
  • Have knowledge of aged care services, finances and terminology (highly regarded)
  • Be Certificate III accredited or have other qualifications in a relevant field (desirable, not mandatory)
  • Have previous experience working in the aged care industry (desirable, not mandatory)
