JOB DESCRIPTION

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for dynamic and highly motivated people to join the Outpatient Clinics (OPC) Reception Team at WMH. These roles are responsible for the efficient operation of the administrative duties involved in the Outpatient Clinics. This includes working with the Electronic Health System (EHS), iPM and QFlow supporting the outpatient journey and working closely with the nursing / midwifery and medical teams. You are required to provide support to other team members and actively participate in key activities of Werribee Mercy Hospital.

Part Time Administrative Officers

  • HS1 classification
  • Werribee Mercy Hospital
  • Requires flexibility to work hours/days as there may be occasions where shifts change to cover leave

Casual Administrative Officers

  • HS1 Classification
  • Werribee Mercy Hospital
  • This role requires flexibility and availability to work at short notice for a minimum of 5 days per week availability

ABOUT YOU:

  • Experience working in an Outpatient Department (desirable)
  • Experience working within the health industry
  • Strong customer service focus and excellent conflict resolution skills
  • A motivated and “can-do” attitude with the ability to learn quickly and go the extra mile
  • Demonstrated administrative skills, including experience with patient management / data base systems (essential)
  • To meet deadlines, prioritise and work as an efficient team member
