Allied Health Assistant - Occupational Therapy

Permanent Part-time (previous applicants need not apply)

We are seeking a suitably qualified allied health assistant to join the Occupational Therapy team at Central Gippsland Health. The Occupational Therapy team is led by a Department Head of Occupational Therapy, and consists of 6 OT's who are supported by 3 AHA's. Our team of AHA's play a valued role in supporting our Allied Health Professionals to achieve in the delivery of person centred care across all divisions.

The CGH Allied Health Department has a staff establishment of more than 60 people located in a purpose built Rehabilitation facility.

This position offer the opportunity to work within the inpatient, outpatient and community settings with a mixed caseload.

The successful applicant will need to have a team approach to their work and have the capability to achieve within a multi-disciplinary health and community services team.

Applications from those currently studying a Certificate to become an Allied Health Assistant are also welcome.

CGH is located in the City of Sale which is 215 km east of Melbourne. The City of Sale is an ideal access point for the magnificent Gippsland Lakes, 90 Mile Beach and the Victorian Alps.

We offer a range of clinical and non-clinical roles in nursing, medical, allied health, community care, administration and pharmacy just to name a few.

CGH is also a teaching hospital, affiliated with Monash University's School of Rural Health and provides placements and clinical experience for students.
