The Role:

With organisational growth comes the exciting opportunity for a driven Sales Executive to manage the sales and relationship management function for our new Retirement Village, St. John’s Rise, in Mooroolbark. Our independent living village will offer a high quality vibrant community for our residents, with a wide range of activities and services provided within a welcoming environment.

As our Sales Executive, you will be responsible for pre-sales/off the plan sales of our independent living units, ensuring that sales targets, goals, and budgets are achieved. Your role will involve the effective management of sales, settlements, unit stock, and stakeholder relationships .

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in all aspects of the sales and re-sales of village residences as directed
  • Work with prospective residents and their families through all stages, from initial inquiry to sales and settlement processes in a timely, efficient and professional manner
  • Conduct market research and competitor checks and provide accurate reports to relevant colleagues and managers
  • Promote the Benetas brand and apply sophisticated assessment of customer needs to align with village culture, fit, and ethos
  • Achieve high conversion rate from leads, enquiry and deposit through to final settlement, and achieve sales targets
  • Ensure all related functions are in accordance with legislative requirements, code of conduct, and best practice
  • Maintain integrity of customer records in Villagemaster CRM system (or other system as required)
To be successful, you will have:
  • A tertiary qualification or extensive hands-on experience in Real Estate, Sales and Marketing, or Property Management
  • The ability to interpret and analyse a range of formal and procedural documentation
  • The ability to work autonomously and under limited supervision
  • The drive to achieve positive sales outcomes and self-motivation to achieve or exceed targets
  • Prior experience in Retirement Living, and/or off-the-plan sales
  • Strong competency with Microsoft Office and CRM Systems
  • Effective negotiation, problem solving, and interpersonal skills that promote trust and confidence
  • Demonstrated knowledge of related legislation (Retirement Villages Act 1986) and Industry Best Practice (including Code of Conduct & Retirement Living Accreditation requirements)
