The Australian Vietnamese Aged Care Services is looking for caring and passionate Vietnamese speaking Care Workers to join the supportive team to deliver quality and safe care to the Vietnamese elderlies.

Selection Criteria:

1. Certificate IV in Aged Care. Medication competency will be an added advantage.

2. Minimum of 5 years experience in Aged Care.

3. Ability to speak Vietnamese.

4. Competent with computer.

5. Good level of verbal and written communication skills.

6. Ability to follow directions from RNs and Clinical Manager.

7. Demonstrated passion and compassion with the delivery of care to the residents.

8. Good understanding of the Aged Care Accreditation Standards.

9. Good understanding of Infection Control and COVID-19 framework in Aged Care.

Main Functions and Responsibilities:

1. The provision pf personal and basic clinical care to residents.

2. To provide activities of daily living, including encouraging residents in recreational/leisure activities in collaboration with the Recreational Activity Officers.

2. Carry out directives from the Registered on duty relating to:

- Residents 'care

- Workplace Safety

- Infection Control

- Facility's policies and procedures

3. Complete documentation

4. Medication Administration

5.Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, visitors and employees in the facility

6. Maintain residents' privacy and dignity and confidentiality at all times through good practices and following policies and procedures.

Salary: $45,253.00 – $55,310.00 per year
