About GOC Care

GOC Care is a community based provider of multicultural support services in Aged Care, Disability and other Community Based Programs. We provide in-home services in the not for profit/community services and require an experienced Scheduler to work full time with our team of professionals to provide quality services to our clients.

About The Role

Full time role Monday to Friday (Staggered starts 7am to 3pm and 9am to 5pm)

Working as part of GOC Care's program delivery team, you will have the ability to hit the ground running working closely with key stakeholders to provide individualised, confidential and responsive scheduling services. You will be supporting clients to live valued, quality lives and to maintain their independence living at home.

Previous scheduling experience is essential, preferably in the Community/Aged Care/Disability Services Industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Knowledge of and the ability to apply Award and EBA conditions to fortnightly rosters
  • Experience in workforce scheduling managing a fast-paced team in a geographically spread environment essential
  • Ability to reschedule cover of unplanned changes in rosters due to unplanned leave, backfilling, client demands on short notice
  • Communicate changes to Care Workers and Management within prescribed Award/EBA time frames
  • Support and assist the Program team to meet required standards of service delivery compliant to relevant legislation
  • Ability to undertake detailed work and maintain information systems accurately
  • Good understanding of suburbs of Brisbane desirable

You will enjoy working autonomously and as part of a small dedicated team, supporting our elderly clients to remain independent at home.
  • Certificate III in Business/Admin (or relevant discipline) or minimum of 3yrs high level administrative experience
  • Advanced problem solving and lateral thinking skills
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills, experience with TCM rostering system highly regarded
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills responding to service requests, client & employee enquiries
  • Exceptional verbal, phone and written communication skills
  • Experience in the delivery of exceptional customer service
  • Current National Police Check
