Child and Family Program


The Child and Family Program including Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies (HMHB) is comprised of numerous disciplines that focus on assessment and Child and Family focused care. The program consists of Counsellors, Occupational Therapists , Speech Pathologists, Dieticians, Podiatrists,Psychologists, Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologist , Community Development Workers and Family Support Workers. The team is committed to working with communities, families and individuals who have poor health outcomes and to providing high quality, multidisciplinary programs which embrace child and family centered practice, evidence based practice and the Social Model of Health.


About the Role and You


The Paediatric Podiatrist will be required to provide an efficient, high quality and comprehensive Physiotherapy service to children aged 0- 18 years and their families residing in the City of Greater Dandenong, City of Casey and Shire of Cardinia.


You will function as a member of a dynamic multi-disciplinary team and will work closely with team members to promote an integrated and holistic service. The Paediatric Podiatrist will need at least 3 years’ experience and had at Paediatric caseload and completed Professional development in paediatrics since graduating .


This position will require the Paediatric Podiatrist to work in an outreach model of care as well as at the community health centre or in other community venues.


This position will potentially see NDIS Clients therefore; Knowledge around this cohort is beneficial.


Services will be provided in line with the protocols of the organisation and will reflect the Social Model of Health and Health Promotion philosophies.


You have been developing your management and leadership skills or you are an accomplished Associate Nurse Manager; either way, you are ready to take this next step in your Career.


You lead by example, thrive working in a dynamic, fast paced environment and are truly passionate about delivering a high standard of evidence based nursing care to all patients.

What You Need:



  • Bachelor Degree in Podiatry or equivalent

  • Registered Podiatrist with Podiatry Registration Board

  • Working with Children’s Check

  • Driving Licence

  • Disability Exclusion Form
