About the role.

Reporting to the Regional Manager, this role plays an integral part within myHomecare in ensuring quality service and maintaining the highest standard of care. This role oversees the delivery of clinical care to clients and provides support and technical leadership to Registered Staff by- 


  • Overseeing coordination of clinical nursing services and provision of holistic care within the context of a primary health care model, to individuals, their families and carers or nurses.
  • Actively promoting our services and offering to clients and potential clients.
  • Promoting and maintaining effective communication channels between the Client / Carers, management, nursing staff, health professionals and government agencies.
  • Serving as a role model and key resource to nursing staff by coaching, mentoring and
  • supporting them and addressing any staff concerns.
  • Handling sensitive enquiries, often from anxious clients / family, with tact, discretion and professionalism.
  • Knowledge of the organisations WH&S risk identification and management procedures.
  • Responsible for management of Registered Staff and overseeing their training and recruitment, working closely with the HR team. 
  • Involved in field staff orientation, staff meetings, skill validations, training and education.


What you will bring.

  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing community or health care teams across various regions.
  • High level of customer service with excellent time management and planning skills.
  • Ability to foster a culture of cooperation and excellence.
  • Knowledge and understanding of government funding related to Home Care packages, DVA, NDIS as well as an understanding of the Aged Care Standards.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.


Essentials:

  • Current AHPRA registration and First Aid Certificate
  • Current Drivers’ License and access to a Motor Vehicle with minimum of a CTP and third-party property insurance
  • Current Police Check and Working with Children Check or a willingness to obtain.
  • Flu Vaccination
