This position is based in a beautiful Residential Care Facilities in the Perth metro area. They provide residents with a beautiful, peaceful and modern home environment where they are dedicated to delivering clinical excellence and high standards of aged care, in a positive and supportive way which is their number 1 priority at all times.
The Exciting Opportunity:
Fantastic Facility (114 beds) with an established, steady clinical team in place
- Must be an APHRA Registered Nurse - Division 1 with Aged Care experience
- Responsible for the overall Clinical Care within the facility and leading your clinical team of RNs, ENs and AINs to success
- Delivering and coordinating training and educational programs together with formal teaching to take clinical care in the facility to the next level
- Responsible for competencies of staff, identifying gaps through performance reviews
- Collect and analyse information to monitor trends and identify areas to improve upon
- Participate in Clinical Audits and Accreditation
- Proactive in identifying clients deterioration, reassessing and follow up to ensure goals and outcomes are updated and met with all stakeholders with person centred care
- Assist Facility Manager with scheduling staff, rostering and other duties as required
- Ensure delivery of outstanding Clinical Care is the number 1 priority for the clinical team at all times whilst identifying, reporting and liaising with all residents and families to resolve any clinical or behavioural issues
The Successful Candidate:
- Must be a current AHPRA Registered Nurse
- Basic knowledge of ACFI accreditation and funding tools
- Passionate about driving and delivering clinical excellence
- Would consider a Senior RN who has supervised staff and is ready for the next step
- Current National Police Clearance and Flu Shot
- Want to work in a great team and organization who truly value their residents, families and staff and embody person centred care
