What type of position is a CAREGiver position?

Our CAREGivers are our Carers. Our Carers are the very important people that provide the care to our clients.

Other titles for a CAREGiver could be known as a Personal Care Attendant ( PCA ), Carer, Home Care Assistant or In Home Carer.

What care do CAREGivers provide?

The role of our CAREGivers play a very important part in providing care to our clients 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our CAREGivers provide this care by providing Home Helper Services (meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry and unescorted shopping) and Personal Assistance Services (showering, dressing, walking and escorted shopping) to allow older people to stay home longer.

Location

We are looking for CAREGivers that live in the Glen Waverley area and surrounding suburbs. You can view a detailed list of the areas we work in at the bottom of this advert.

What we are looking for

· CAREGivers that are reliable, caring and compassionate

· Experience caring in some capacity - that is for a family member or in a previous job

· Hold a Certificate 3 in Aged Care / Individual Support or currently working towards this

· Have availability across 3 days at a minimum with the aim of working at least a minimum of 15-20 hours per week

Glen Waverley, Scoresby, Wantirna South, Brandon Park, Mulgrave, Wheelers Hill, Vermont South and other surrounding suburbs

Part-time hours: 15 - 30 per week

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Salary: $26.96 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Afternoon shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Morning shift
• Night shift

Experience:

• caregiver: 1 year (Preferred)

Work Eligibility:

• Permitted to work permanently with no restriction on hours (e.g. citizen, permanent resident) (Preferred)
