About This Opportunity
Programmed Health Professionals have an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking for something a little different in the aged care sector.
Our client is seeking Senior Quality Assessors for a 12 month casual placement, 38 hours a week, Monday to Friday, working in an accreditation/quality role.
This role is located in Perth. Start date early March 2021.

About The Role
We are looking for the right people to join our high performing team who are responsible for the assessing and monitoring the performance of individual aged care providers (residential, home care and flexible care) against the Aged Care Quality Standards.
Quality Assessors roles, which are predominantly field based positions with only occasional attendance at a home office required, undertake visits to aged care services across each state and territory.
Successful candidates will be provided with a training program that is internationally accredited by the International Society for Quality in Healthcare, (ISQua) leading to registration as Registration as a Quality Assessor is an essential requirement for the positions.
Primary Role Duties Include
Extensive travel within each state is an inherent requirement of this role. Travel requirements involve overnight travel each week or fortnight. A current driver's license is essential to support the travel expectations of the role/s.
Engagement Is Conditional On
- Successfully completing a national police check
- Providing evidence of having had a seasonal influenza vaccination
- Being able to meet the travel expectations of the role
To Be Successful In This Role You Must Have
- STRONG inter-personal skills
- EXCELLENT written and verbal communication skills
- HIGH ability to understand and apply knowledge of relevant standards and legislation
- Experience in management is preferable
- A current WA driver's license
- Rights to work in Australia
- National Criminal Record Check
- Must hold an Australian citizenship
- Registration as a quality surveyor (this course will be provided to successful applicants)
- Experience preferable in regulatory, quality, audit or compliance roles
- Clinical and/or Government experience is highly favorable (specific to Aged Care)
